This is where we live!

God has provided a house for us - and His timing could not be better.  We were able to live in the house of teammates on furlough and they return in July.  So we were able to enjoy a transition to Nicaragua without having to find a house immediately.  And now that we need one - God has provided. It is an older house in a mini community of four houses.  The family who owns the house moved to the area in 1959 and the matriarch still lives in one of the houses - she is 97.  We have a little bit of land and some huge trees to enjoy.

We live in the Pan American Highway which runs down through Central America.  We live in on a long hill so we hear the traffic from the highway especially the semi trucks as they down shift. The house is less than ten minutes for the kids' school and is in an area a little bit cooler than the main part of the city.  (so when it is 98 in the city it is only about 95 where we live)

We would love to have people come visit us.  We do have a small guest room and we can put kids on air mattresses around the house. It will not be the Hilton but we will take good care of you.

We pray that this house will be a great place for our family and will be a blessing to others as well. Thank you to all of you who prayed for this house.
This huge tree is our view from our front door.
Andy has his own room for the first time in his life.
